*******A FEW CHANGES FOR 2019******

  • If you are a Vanderbilt employee planning to participate in the “Rooted in Community” program again in 2019, please wait to sign up for your CSA. Email us and we will reserve you spot, but we are still sorting out a few details with Vanderbilt. We are also considering doing a pickup at Vanderbilt

  • We are only offering one share size of $25 dollars/week to simplify our lives. This is the halfway point between our full and half shares that we offered last year. We think this size will still be great for couples and individuals who love veggies

  • Saturday morning pick up will be 8-12pm (not 8-1pm) - This is because Clarksville Downtown Market sometimes closes early due to hot weather.

  • We are adding a 12 South Farmer Market pick up option for Tuesday afternoons!

  • We will not be vendors at the Ashland City Farmers Market this year - but we still want you to get our veggies! You can sign up for an on farm pick-up or we can deliver your share to your home for a modest fee.

  • If you are interested in getting your share delivered to your home (Ashland City and West Nashville) email us, and we will work it out

  • 5% discount for active duty military (That adds up to one free share) use discount code ACTIVEDUTY

  • $10 Gift card to any 2018 member who refers a friend

What is CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. By purchasing a "SHARE" you are investing in our farm and in return we provide you with a weekly payout of fresh vegetables and herbs. This program allows us to have financial capital early in the season for seeds, marketing, equipment repair, new tools, etc. By owning a part "share" in our farm you take on some of our risk, we are not immune to crop failures due to natural disasters, pests, plant disease, etc. However, becoming a CSA member has some real benefits for you:

1) You will get the "first fruits" of every harvest - meaning all our best produce will go to members

2) Your produce is discounted (for example if you buy a share for $450 dollars we make sure you get more that $450 worth of veggies during the season)

3) Every member will receive a Sweeter Days Farm tote to pack their shares in

4) The satisfaction of helping build your local food economy and supporting sustainable agriculture!

How our CSA Works

Our CSA model is a "pack your own". We will have crates full of available items with detailed instructions. For example: in the summer we may have out crates of lettuce, kale, tomatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, cucumbers, summer squash, green beans, garlic scapes and the instructions will read "Full Share = 2 lettuce, 2 kale, 5lbs tomatoes, 3 eggplant, 4 bell peppers, 2 cucumbers 2 summer squash, 1 quart green beans, 5 garlic scapes ". There are several benefits to the "pack your own" model that we have chosen. It eliminates our packaging costs (and therefore reduces waste). You have a chance to select individual items you would like (maybe you like skinny eggplants, or maybe you want larger zucchinis for making bread).

Payment options:

Credit card/Paypal through our website

Cash or Check (Sweeter Days Farm 299 Jones Ln, Ashland City, TN 37015)

If you are unable to pay the full amount we would be happy to set up a payment plan for you.

If you are active duty military and have a scheduled PCS/ETS or deployment for 2019 we can modify the end date of your Share and price it accordingly.

Cancellation policy: If you are unable to pick up your share, please have a friend coordinated to pick it up for you. If you are unable to pick up your share - please let us know 48 hrs in advance and we can arrange for you to pick up your share at the farm. With so much to coordinate this season we appreciate your assistance in helping us keep it all organized!

This is truly an investment in our farm. We ask that you stick with us for the whole season. If you are genuinely dissatisfied with our CSA program and decide to cancel, we will refund you a pro-rated amount. .
